A bright, spacious ground-level suite in our home in Saanich, with its own entrance through the garden. We also leave a simple breakfast: coffee, tea and fresh fruit.
The bedroom has a double bed and a walk-in closet, and we can add a twin bed or a crib for a third guest. There's a living room with a reclining sofa and smart TV, a dining table for four, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms: an ensuite with a walk-in shower and tub, plus a powder room.
We're Julia and Diogo. We live upstairs with our kids and our dog, so you may sometimes hear family life, but the suite itself is entirely yours. Layritz Park's trails are right outside, and downtown Victoria is a 15-minute drive.

Layritz Suite sits on a quiet residential street in Saanich, next to Layritz Park with its trails, ball diamonds, soccer fields and playground. Camosun College's Interurban campus and the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence are a short walk away.
Downtown Victoria is about 15 minutes by car, and Elk Lake, Butchart Gardens and the airport are all within a 25-minute drive. Bus stops are close by, but a car is the easiest way to get around.

Where is the suite?
At 1292 Layritz Place in Saanich, beside Layritz Park. Downtown Victoria is about 15 minutes by car, Victoria General Hospital about 7 minutes, and Camosun College’s Interurban campus is a short walk.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3 PM and check-out is by 11 AM. You check yourself in through your own garden entrance.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 3. The bedroom has a double bed, and we can add a twin bed or a crib for a third guest.
Is there parking?
Yes, free driveway parking for one car, right on the property.
Can I cook in the suite?
The kitchenette has a fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is no stove or oven.
Is breakfast included?
We leave a simple breakfast: coffee, tea and fresh fruit.
Is there a washer and dryer?
No, there is no laundry for guests.
Is the suite good for families with young kids?
Yes. A crib and high chair are available on request, there are toys, books and board games in the suite, and Layritz Park’s playground is a short walk away.
Will I hear the hosts?
We live upstairs with our kids and our dog, so you may sometimes hear family life, but the suite itself is entirely yours.
