Walking to campus
From the suite it’s about a 6-minute walk to the Interurban campus, where Camosun College’s Interurban buildings and PISE share the same grounds. Ask us for the quickest route when you arrive.
Training and competing nearby
PISE opened in 2008 as the first summer sport institute in Canada, and CSI Pacific runs its Victoria campus there. Saanich Commonwealth Place, which hosts swim meets, is about 6 minutes away by car, and Elk Lake, with its rowing centre at Eagle Beach, about 10.
On a meet or tournament weekend
Check-in is from 3 PM and you let yourself in through your own garden entrance, so arriving late the night before is fine. Your car stays on the driveway, there’s room for gear, and the kitchenette (fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster; no stove) covers early breakfasts alongside the coffee, tea and fruit we leave.
Visiting a Camosun student
Move-in, orientation and graduation are busy times on campus. The suite gives parents a quiet base within walking distance, with Royal Oak’s shops about 5 minutes away by car.
